Epson decided to refresh their collateral for the Professional Imaging line of printers to aid merchandisers in increasing sales. Our studio was up for review after having the account for years, but ultimately they went with my concept which helped us retain the account.
As leaders in the wide-format printer category, the brand has to stay premium-looking and above competition. Each series is categorized by a letter and color system. Establishing a good balance of copy, image and negative space is key, as well as creating and choosing the right print samples. CGI printers was brought to life by enhancing color, lighting and integrating mood.
With a new product segment established, Epson wanted a packaging that will not only standout on the shelf, but something that can communicate what the Signature Worthy brand is about.
Teaming up with another designer, a packaging system was developed to showcase gallery-worthy photographs from acclaimed photographers to boost market recognition for the fine art and photographic paper. A black matte frame was created to highlight the image and create an upscale-look for the product.
